Wellsburg Primary kicked off the school year with an opening assembly focused on “Growing Great Leaders.” Students learned that leadership begins with everyday choices—being kind, helping others, showing respect, working hard, and doing the right thing even when no one is watching.

Throughout the assembly, students were encouraged to recognize the leader within themselves. Every child has the ability to make a positive difference in the classroom, in our school, and in the community. By learning from mistakes, supporting classmates, and setting a good example, our students can grow into confident and caring leaders.

We are excited to watch our students grow throughout the year. Together, we will continue building a school community where everyone feels valued, encouraged, and ready to lead!
