If your student returned a form for our Veterans Day Event and indicated that they will be bringing a guest of honor, please email a picture of your veteran to stephanie.gordon@k12.wv.us.  Also, please include the branch they served in.  

Due to chilly weather and high winds, we are not parading at the park. We will parade inside the building. This will be for students only. I will video the parade and post it to our PTSA page only. The classroom parties will be right after.

I am so sorry about the late notice. I thought I already sent this out. Please forgive me! If it is raining, we will not have the kids walk. It will have to be a downpour though to keep us from walking. Send the costume to school. NO WEAPONS. Minimal make-up is allowed and must be worn to school. We do have some volunteers available to help each classroom get students into costumes.

Good evening Wellsburg Primary, I have a few reminders for rest of this week. Don't forget that tomorrow is Individual Picture Day, Wednesday is a two hour delay but it is also Hats Off to a Cure and students may wear a hat to school.

Strive for 95%! We were so close in September! We were at 94%. Let's have some fun!

Yesterday we had some amazing guests at our school! Bethany College's Men's and Women's Basketball Teams stopped by to read to our classes. Some even played in gym class with us! We had a great time with both teams and hope to get to watch them play a game one day! Go Bisons!

Don't forget tomorrow is team up against cancer! Wear your favorite team gear!

It's almost October and that means Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Every Wednesday in October will be a theme day! We are also selling pink ribbons to raise money for our local chapter of Relay for Life. All information for the themes and the ribbons will come home tomorrow.

This Thursday, September 25, we will wear blue to show our support for our friends and family who have hearing loss! 💙💙

Looking forward to a great time celebrating our grandparents this Friday, September 5th! Kindergarten is at 9:00am, 1st grade is at 10:00am, and 2nd grade is at 1:30pm. Please remember to RSVP if you haven't done so already. Our Partners in Education The Brooke Hancock Family Resource Center will provide us with our goodies so we need to know how many goodies we need!

Tomorrow is our official Back to School Pep Rally! It is a chance for your child to find out who their teacher will be! We will have a few photo opportunities, some gifts, and just some general fun! Also, on August 22nd at 9:15am, we will host our Kindergarten orientation. This is a chance for our kindergarteners to see their classrooms, drop off their supplies, and meet their new friends. Parents, this is a chance for you to learn the lay of the land and an opportunity to get any of your questions answered before school begins. Please see the flyer attached!

Welcome back! This Monday, August 18, we are having a meet the teacher night from 5 to 6 PM. Wear your Brooke green and gold because it's a pep rally! Please use the gym doors on 15th and Charles Street to enter. We are excited and we are ready!
