Dear Brooke County Friends and Families,
On behalf of the Brooke County Board Of Education, I would like to personally thank you for your continuing support of Brooke County Schools. We would like to welcome you to our website and hope that you will find this site helpful for all of your school based questions you may have regarding your child’s education. Beginning my fifth year in Brooke County Schools serving as Superintendent of Schools, I have continued to be impressed with the great students that enter our doors and the many great teachers and staff that help guide students through their educational journeys.
We can work together to make a great school district one of the greatest that allows students to expand their knowledge and understanding of numerous areas that will help prepare them for the challenging 21st Century job market.
Our children and their future is our district's purpose. As a school district, we have the capacity to provide wonderful educational opportunities for all of our children that will benefit the entire community. The Board of Education and I will work with you every day to meet our goals. Thank you for the opportunity to be your superintendent. I look forward to a long and beneficial partnership.

About The Deputy Superintendent
Mr. Corey Murphy
Mr. Murphy comes to Brooke County Schools with 17 years of experience in the education field. Prior to his appointment as Deputy Superintendent, he has served in many roles as a Teacher, Athletic Director, Assistant Principal, Head Principal, Assistant Superintendent/Personnel Director & Secondary Curriculum Director. A 2002 graduate of West Virginia University where he earned a BA/MA in Secondary Education, Mr. Murphy obtained his Educational Leadership from Salem International University.
Mr. Murphy has served at the state level on the Deputy & Executive Boards of the WVSSAC & currently serves on the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference Executive board. During his tenure with the OVAC, he has served as the President of the conference.
